In 2017, Ochoa emigrated to Paris due to the situation in his country, and his sculptures emerged a few years later in a solo exhibition at Ibu Gallery in Palais Royal, Paris. In these sculptures, Ochoa draws inspiration from fish fins to explore themes of movement and migration.
